Tom, The weekend before last My sister and I drove to Baltimore To See A film called "Good Ol' Frieda" Which is a documentary about Frieda Kelly, The Beatles Secretary. My sister donated some money,and this all came about when Annie and I and another Beatles Fanatic we Love We call Beatle Bob who works in the senate met Frieda in London Last year in March,anyway a lot of really wonderful people were behind this project,and Annie's and my names are in the closing credits. This film just got distribution from an Independent company and If by chance it should come to Detroit, you should see it its really beautiful. This is why My sister wants me to have my 60th Birthday in Liverpool and we have often gone there, because we are Britons of Irish descent and there are a lot of great rockers both young and old In Liverpool any way John and George have gone onto Nirvana and are looking over us as we make our serious rock and Roll,same for Brian Jones and Bessy Jew, aka Jessy Blue. Its a real calling in life to be a serious musician, no matter what You play. now I really feel like a fellow Spirit of another day-The future. I dont know, the main reason I did that was that I wanted to be close to the Beatles..This current photo I took last week. I like it because I sort of look like a cross between Al Pacino and Johnny Thunders in it... Im actually growing a beard like every Man rocker I ever loved did. Ill probably shave it off soon,as It can become very uncomfortable, especially in hot weather. Peace, Mike Love:)))))

my Dearest Tom, Im having fun being an old hippie..Im growing my beard and in the near future I can smoke legal pot and Play music that sounds like Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and eat macrobiotic food, ( which actually was delicious),and do that dance that all hippies did..I saw a man in Manhattan the other day who had this very long Gray hair that was all pulled back in a braid and had a beard..He really impressed me. well thats at least for now..Luvnpeace, Donovan

I have The Associations Greatest hits on Vinyl. I am especially fond of "Everything That Touches You"..A John Lennon Fan left that lyric on The Imagine Mosaic in Strawberry Fields..I was always there for years, But Its not going to write my music for me..People actually thought that was my job that I was paid for, because busloads of people go there every day. I never made a penny. As a matter of fact, I cant count how much money I spent to make music, But I made so little, It probably adds up to less than $500. One thing we will never be is pampered, Rich, spoiled rockstars..Ive certainly seen enough here since I was a kid. Im just glad Im OK today And dont have to worry about barely surviving. All we have is Right now at all times.Im Glad I took that fat fuck HIllys stupid book and threw it in the trash..The Same Goes for Bob Gruens John Lennon Book. Maybe Ill make a tell all book someday..Not even, it would be stranger than fiction..Be well and stay well. Peace, John winston lennon.

hey tom!, I just got back home a while ago..I would have written sooner, but I couldnt log in on my Sister's computer. I had a Wonderful time, and today is cold and rainy, the opposite, I was in a really crazy mood for a few days, Had a lot of laughs with my Manhattan Friends.
