His career as DJ starts in the emblematic Sitges club of L'Atlantida. That same year he starts as resident DJ in the Barcelona discotheque El cono de tu prima and plays there during three years. He shares his last year as resident in El cono de tu prima with different well-known afters in Barcelona such as Heart, Pink or Bronx. From November 200, Iu has concentrated efforts in a personal project called Zen Club. He has deeply committed himself as Art Manager of the club as well as resident DJ, making the name of Zen Club a reference to international level. His club has seen DJs as reputed as Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Angel Molina, Gaetano Parisio, Adam Beyer, Rino Cerrone, Danilo Vigorito, Sideral, Toni Ros, John Selway, Dk7, Frank Lorber, Mrtini Brs, Northern Lite, Alex Under, Sex in Dallas, Metro Area, Chicken Lips, MIA among others. His ability to read both the dancefloor and his public, his natural attraction for risk and mixed styles are always a great rewarding surprise. His sessions cover a unique variety of styles like minimal, minimal house, electro or techno. His experience, added to his good criteria and broad musical culture, have allowed him to perform in major events as celebrated as A Tribute Love Parade (Colombia 2002), Dinamix Festival (Italy 2003), Jellyfish, Almodovar (Rep. Dominicana 2003), Loops (Kosovo 2004), Loft Club (Switzerland 2005), La Quimera, Shamrock, E-Music (Argentina 2006), La Feria, Decks 00, Cafe Journal (Chile 2006), participating also in national circuits like Marlboro Dance Tour 02, Colors Festival, Leitmotiv 04 and 05 or ElectroSplash 05 and 06, playing in clubes such as La Terrrazza, The Loft , City Hall, Danzatoria, Moog, La Cova, Macarena, Solid (Barcelona), Pacha (Barcelona, Torrevieja), Amnesia (Ibiza), Zoom, Blau (Girona), Ohm (Madrid), Colonial (Marbella), Ambit (Andorra), etc. His last steps have brought him towards production, where he has already composed the theme and band for the theatre play Rei Lear (Calixte Bieito, 2004). Iu is now preparing his second discography production that will soon see the light at Italians label Minisketch, with Paco Osuna, Davide Squillace and Ricard, after the first release at Subterfuge Records, Cycle - Confusion (Zen Club Rmx), also with Ricard.
