The SoulbreakerCompany was born in 2003 in Vitoria-Gasteiz, BasqueCountry, Spain.
Their first album, "Hot Smoke & HeavyBlues" (Last Recordings), was released in 2005.The album had great reviews in music magazines andthe band soon started to tour around Spain supporting international acts like Mother Superior, RagingSlab or TheSteepwater Band. They also got aslot on the main stage of the Azkena RockFestival 2005 wherethey shared stage with Queens ofthe Stone Age, Monster Magnet, Gov'tMule and DeepPurple among others.

On their debut album the band combined the essence ofthe 70's rock of bandslike Led Zeppelin,Santana, Mountain or Grand Funk, with thealternative folk-rock of current artists like Band Of Horses or Wilco.

In 2007 they returned to the studio to record their second album, "The Pink Alchemist"(Alone Records), published a year after. The new songs showed a clear evolution in the band´s sound, approaching morepsychedelic sounds but without forgetting their roots onthe best classic rock. On this album the band started to define their own sound and proved with a powerfullive set that they are one of the most compact and solid rock bands in Spain.

Their third LP "Itaca”, released in 2010 and recorded at Foel Studios in Wales by Dave Anderson. On this work the band open up their sound to more current trends. They fill the album with more melodies pop than in their previous compositions but at the same time give to the listener a darker feeling.

Nowdays, the've recorded their 4th album at Toe Rag Studios in London, wich is expected to be released at the end of 2013.
