It´s been almost a year since our last concert at Le Garage. We all have different jobs and it´s been hard to get together in order to prepare a new one. Our live show, two days ago at Laydown, was awesome! All of our friends were there: it´s important for them to know that, without them, we are nothing. The new songs sounded great, the new members (Karlos, Zorton) sounded even better. We feel very happy to finally have a new motivation to keep on track. God bless you all.
It´s been a long time since I wrote our last blog. There hasn´t been much going on, really. I´vr written lyrics for two more songs but, as The Lipstick members have to eat, our respective jobs have become obstacles in this race against the clock. Anyway, this is still a dream come true. My boyfriend is part of this project and one of my dearest friends, as well. Yesterday night I went to the CSS concert: they are friends, too. You can strongly sense it when you see all of them alined, on top of the stage. So I guess that is the message: keep the faith. Faith is hard to have but, at the same time, it´s for free.
After our self imposed live test, we finally know we are ready. I have seen the video and, you know? It wasn´t that bad. I guess I´m starting to like this... A lot. The thing is we have sat down and worked on new tracks: two of them have been the result of one rainy afternoon of hard work. They are as good as the rest (I´m sorry, I am usually as humble as a preacher but I guess then it must be true). 4 more songs and we can start thinking about the record. Life is fantastic, sometimes...
... were having a party" last night. And what´s best: with us. Amazing concert among our loved ones in the coolest, underground (literally, it´s located "inside" a parking lot) club of this city. Kiss, M.T.
