Spanish alternative pop/rock band Sr. Chinarro was formed in the early '90s by singer/songwriter Antonio Luque, making their debut in a 1992 compilation called El Colectivo Karma, followed by a self-titled album released in 1994, 1996's Compito, and 1997's El Por Qué De Mis Peinados.
Mostly influenced by British alternative and goth rock, Antonio Luque has been recognized as one of the most interesting lyricists from the 1990s Spanish rock scene. After issuing No Se Qué - No Sé Cuántos in 1998, Sr. Chinarro's La Primera Opera Envasada Al Vacío was released in March of 2001. ~ Drago Bonacich
