Slank is touted to have a solid strength of most fans and the biggest in Indonesia, as Slanker. Without Slanker .. Slank like life without motivation .. Slanker who continue to motivate Slank to continue voicing minority undercurrent .. that are sometimes forgotten.

Formed by Bimbim on December 26, 1983 due to be bored playing music cover band and have a strong desire to create their own songs. And managed to become one of the historic and memorable musicians and influential of all time in Indonesia.

Slank is a forerunner to the birth of a group called Cikini Stones Complex (CSC) formed by Ben Setiawan Sidhartha (Bimbim) in the early 80s. The band played Rolling Stones and do not want to play songs from other bands, they eventually end up bored and towards the end of 1983 the group disbanded.
