Bio:

Santiago Mayo comienza en 1998 a coleccionar vinilos de artistas como Dj Vadim, Prodigy, Underworld, Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk o Kraftwerk. En 2002 colabora (bajo el seudónimo de Elsanto) en algunas fiestas con el colectivo Morbosa Dance, compartiendo cabina, entre otros, con Sweeterbeat, V-Obsession y Daoun. Viaja a Ibiza donde consigue actuaciones en algunos locales de la isla (Blues, El Templo, Pin-Up...). Allí se ve influenciado por el sonido de Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos y Richie Hawtin, tomándolos como referencia e interesándose por la escena alemana, el techno de Detroit y demás vertientes de la música minimalista. A la vuelta a Madrid actúa en distintas fiestas y eventos artísticos y promocionales como Playstation Xperience en el Palacio Vista Alegre (2004), o en la Galería de Arte Joven de Avenida de América, dándose a conocer más tarde en numerosas raves y fiestas clandestinas (Raves del Monasterio, El Hangar, Matadero de Rivas, Antiviñarrock, Caños de Meca, etc...) desarrollando una faceta más enfocada a la escena rave, alternando en ocasiones hardtechno y drum..n..bass. En 2006 forma el colectivo Danzek, en el que comienza a dar a conocer sus primeros trabajos como productor haciendo bandas sonoras para páginas web y pequeños directos en fiestas, disfruta de una residencia mensual junto con Ripley_b en el Club Cópola (Madrid), logrando también actuaciones en diferentes clubs de Madrid, Colombia y Francia desde el año 2007 (Virtual, Siroco, One Club, Chill Out, Magnolia, Deck_482, Cha-Chá Club, Au Soleil de la Butte, Cópola, MIDI Club, Demode, Redrum, Stardust, Electronik Club...), participando también en distintos eventos de otra naturaleza (El Beso en C/Ballesta, Vanadio, Carhartt Shop, Cosas por Dinero II Edición...). Actualmente Santi está dedicado por completo a la experimentación con equipos analógicos, aplicándolos a la producción digital. Puedes escuchar algo de este material en Myspace, Last fm y Soundcloud. In 2002 he collaborates (under El Santo's nickname) in some parties with the Morbosa Dance Group, mixing at the decks with V-Obsession, Sweeterbeat and Daoun. During that time he also traveled to Ibiza where he played at some important places of the island such as Blues, El Templo, Pin-Up and many others. In that trip he were influenced by Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin sounds, artist that he took as reference he also started to being interested in German scene, Detroit techno and other slopes of the minimalist music. When he return to Madrid he played at different parties and artistic-promotional events such as Playstation Xperience at Palacio Vistalegre (2004), Young Art Gallery Avda. de América, he also joined later numerous raves and clandestine parties (Monasterio Raves, The Hangar, Slaughter House of Rivas, Antiviñarrock, Caños de Meca, etc ...) developing a facet more focused at the rave scene, playing hardtechno and drum'n'bass. At 2006 he founds Danzek Collective. In this project he begins to do his first works as producer doing music for web pages and live acts in some parties, by that time he joined a monthly residence together with Ripley_b at Cópola Club (Madrid). By 2007 he performed in different clubs of Madrid, Colombia and France such as Virtual, Sirocco, One Club, Chill Out, Magnolia, Deck_482, Cha-Chá Club, Au Soleil de la Buttè, Cópola, MIDI Club, Demode, Redrum, Stardust, Electronik Club….
