Padreisla nace a finales de octubre del 2005 casi por casualidad. Fue en el transcurso de un festival de música independiente, justamente paseando por la calle Padreisla (Leon ciudad) cuando empieza a rondar esa idea de crear un grupo.
Al principio, Padreisla no se centra en un estilo determinado y su música recorre un amplio abanico de influencias que oscilan entre sonidos electrónicos y electro pop. Sienten gran devoción por grandes grupos míticos de los ochenta, actuales y solistas en general, tales como:
Joy division, David Bowie, Megabeat, And One, Front 242, Kraftwerk, New Order, Depeche Mode, Decima victima, Wolfsheim, Ultravox, B-Movie, Nitzer Ebb, Rammstein, OMD, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Siouxsie & the Banshess, Placebo... y muchos mas.
Después de un corto periodo de tiempo de composición y sin apenas canciones, comienzan a dar sus primeros conciertos en salas y festivales como: .. .. Sala Arrikitown (Cornellá), Festival Tendencias FMI (BCN), Sala Picadilly downtown club (Valencia), FEA festival (BCN), Sala Nasti (Madrid), Existence festival (Valencia), Sala Factory (Barcelona), Sala Rock & apples (Calella), Festival Hallowean (BCN), Dark christmas festival (BCN), Nocturna club (BCN), Mephisto (BCN), Sala Zac (BCN), Sala KGB (BCN) La Boca del Lobo (Madrid), Becool ( BCN), Salamandra 1 ( BCN) etc...
Padreisla ha participado en la producción/composición de canciones,de grupos de la movida Barcelonesa, como: Lorena C, PinkGlove, Siberia... y también ha sido portada en varias ocasiones en revistas, fanzines (entre ellos MONDO SONORO), y bandas sonoras de cortometrajes (V-de vicio). También han participado con su música, en el recopilatorio MONDO FUTURA, por cortesía de Bon vivant records (La Rebelión de los Electrodomésticos) dedicado a bandas de la escena electrónica. .. Tambien han participado en la segunda entrega del recopilatorio electronicautor VOL.2, tambien integrado con grandes bandas y solistas del panorama electrónico nacional. En la actualidad estan disponibles dos trabajos de Padreisla, un primer EP+ DVD, titulado con en el mismo nombre del grupo, Padreisla. Dicho EP incluye 6 temas: Dímelo, Condenado al silencio, Basta ya!, La verdad, Otra oportunidad, No hay quien te entienda! + un DVD con contenido visual y un segundo trabajo titulado "Iniciación" y editado en el 2010 que incluye 5 canciones nuevas : El sintonizador de espectros, Correr, Viejoven, Iniciación y Esos días...

Padreisla borns on October’s 2005. During an Independent music festival, just walking in Padreisla street (Leon city) when begins the idea of create a band.
Little by little, but simultaneously non-stop, they start composing his first demos and compositions. Initially, Padreisla doesn’t make a certain style and his music crosses a wide range of influences that range between electronic sounds and electropop.
They feel great devotion for big mythical groups of the eighties, current and soloists in general, like:
Joy division, David Bowie, Megabeat, Covenant, And One, Front 242, Kraftwerk, New Order, Gabinete Caligari, Depeche Mode, Decima victima, Wolfsheim, Ultravox, B-Movie, Nitzer Ebb, Rammstein, OMD, She wants revenge, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Siouxsie & the Banshess, Placebo, echo and the bunnymen... and more.
After a short period of time of composition and without a lot of songs, they begin to give his first concerts in theaters and festivals like:
Sala Arrikitown (Cornella),Festival Tendencias FMI (Barcelona), Sala Picadilly downtown club (Valencia), FEA festival (Barcelona), Sala Nasti (Madrid), Existence festival (Valencia), Sala Factory (Barcelona), Sala Rock & apples (Calella), Festival Hallowean BCN, (Barcelona), Dark christmas festival BCN (Barcelona), Mephisto (Barcelona), etc...
Padreisla has taken part in the production / composition of songs, of groups of the “Barcelona movida”, like: Lorena C, PinkGlove, Siberia ... and also it has been carried in several occasions in magazines, fanzines (like MONDO SONORO), and shortcut’s original sondtrack (V - de vicio). Also they have participated with their music, in MONDO FUTURA compilation, by cortesy of Bon vivant records (“La Rebelión de los Electrodomésticos”) dedicated to bands of the electronic scene. In the Vol. 1 we can found Assman, Padreisla, Wonderful Cosmetics, Trigger, Oblique, Estado Avanzado, Isaac Junkie, Lorena C and Lethargy ( +info: www.bonvivantrecords.tk ). And currently Padreisla is selected among one of more than 90 bands, to form a part in the second edition of the compilation (electronicautor vol.2). The artists that was selected in the first compilation of electronicautor was Cycle, Wonderfool Cosmetics, DZ, Sick of sound, Dj Voyage, Jazzt, Jonathan Badichi, Marcos Legazpi, Aqeel & Kane, Suffer Duo, Templar & Birdy, Sonora foundation, Waves 4 All and AZ Rotator. Great artists of national electronic scene all of them. They take part of the in the second issue of electronicautor compilation, also created with bands and soloists of the nation electronic scene. They have been explored to take part in more projects and currently is available a EP + DVD, titled with in the same name of the group, Padreisla. This EP+DVD includes 6 tracks: Dímelo, Condenado al silencio, Basta ya!, La verdad, Otra oportunidad, No hay quien te entienda! + a DVD with visual content and the second work "Initiation" and edited in 2010 that includes 5 new songs: El sintonizador de espectros, Correr, Viejoven, Iniciación y Esos días...
