Hi! I was born in 1973 and have been playing drums since I was about 12 years old. Since then I have played in countless bands and projects, just like everyone in this business. First starting with rock music, i have turned more towards funk and jazz-related music in the recent years. My influences are too wide-spread to name them all here, but i LOVE Mitch Mitchell, Keith Moon, Tony Williams, Elvin Jones, Christian Vander, David Garibaldi, Al Jackson, Zach Danziger, most of the Zappa drummers....just to name a few. I am mostly interested in 60ties & 70ties music, but not only. I love bands like Hella, The Ruins, Tipographica as well. I have played with many artists, of which you might know: Lothar Meid (Amon Düül), Christoph Spendel, Tom Bennecke (Jazzkantine), and many more. Recent projects I have been involved in include: SOUP DE NÜLL, SPALT, PROTO COSMOS, KREBSZUCHT AUF AMRUM, RICHARD VON DER SCHULENBURG, JACQUES PALMINGER, BOYD'S ELEKTRO GITARREN ORCHESTER and the french band AQUASERGE....
