    ¡Kaixo! Eskuetan, bihotzez egindako lana duzu, poliki, pil-pil-erara, maitasun haundiz. Diska, eskola eta profesional garaien arteko zubia da. Izan ere, ikas-garaietako, ilusio, desio eta itxaropenak; proiektua, lana eta bizimodua aldi berean aurrera eramatearen zailtasunekin topo egiten du. Euskal Herriko areto eta Jazzaldi askotan parte hartu ez ezik, lana 2010-eko BBK JAZZ Erakustaldian "Sustada Saria" jaso duelarik argitaratu dute. Bide luze honen bukaeran hobetu beharreko hainbat gauza egon arren, harro nago lortutako emaitzarekin, hurrengorako prest. Gustokoa izango duzuelakoan, jaso ezazue besarkada goxo bat! Guraso, Anaia eta Lily-ri Maitasun haundiz eskeinia. Hello! You have in your hands a CD cooked over a slow fire, like 'Pil-Pil', with no detail overlooked. It is also a bridge between two periods, from the academic to the professional. The first was when I began to compose repertory... the years of expectation, dedication, doubt and excitement. The second, the shock of reality, the difficulties of bringing a a project to life, doing it day by day - and not dying in the process! hahaha.... After touring almost all the clubs and festivals on the Basque country, this work was published as the winner of 'Premio Impulso' (Impulse Prize) in the 1st 'Muestra BBK JAZZ' of Bilbao 2010. The road has not been easy, there are many things to improve. Still though, I would repeat it all! Big hugs to everyone, and I hope you enjoy! I would like to thank my parents for their unconditional support, and my brother for his dedication, and Lily for her Love. ¡Hola! Tienes en tus manos un CD cocinado a fuego lento, al Pil-Pil, mimado al detalle. Es también un puente entre dos épocas, la del conservatorio y la profesional. La primera, cuando comencé a escribir el repertorio, los años de expectativa, dedicación, incertidumbre e ilusión. La segunda, el encuentro con la realidad, las dificultades de llevar adelante un proyecto, compaginarlo con el trabajo, el día a día ¡y no morir en el intento! Jajaja… Tras recorrer la mayoría de salas y Festivales del País Vasco, el trabajo es publicado como ganador del "Premio Impulso" en la 1ª Muestra BBK JAZZ de Bilbao 2010. El camino no ha sido fácil, hay muchas cosas por mejorar, aun así ¡Repito! Un fuerte Abrazo a todos y que lo disfrutéis! Quiero agradecer a mis padres por su apoyo incondicional, a mi hermano por el tiempo dedicado y a Lily por su Amor. Mikel Bikandi

    How are you? Still working hard and driving that small old car of yours? ;-)
    I've almost finished school and I'm waiting for the invitations for the admission examinations of the music academies... so I'm eating a lot of chocolate to cool down my nerves ;-) 
    But if I can find some time in the summer I'm still thinking about visiting you in Spain... if you're home then... but I'll contact you ;-)
