L.Slinga's love for Reggae started in the 80's while listening to sound systems such as Saxon, Coxsone & Jah Shaka to name a few. He started selecting music himself in his teens at house parties and community centres. Over time he became active in community radio while gaining a good reputation & following playing at various clubs and venues. After the positive feedback from his "Serious Times" & "More Love" Reggae Culture Mixtapes he launched in 2006 The "Culture Drop" Mixtape (DJ Promo) where he showcases the finest up & coming artists & studios. These works have lead him into producing promotional mixes for recording studios worldwide such as Chop Chop Productions, PhaReal Records & Obadan Produktionz Jamaica, Not Easy At All Productions & Jah Soild Rock Music Amsterdam, Cultural Productions, Ghetto Records, Reggae Time Records & Jamble Records France, Goldcup Records Italy & It's Bright Productions UK.
