“Love And Revolution” é o título do primeiro álbum, após a edição em 2007 do EP "Done" e está disponivel nas lojas desde o mês de Maio.

Apresentado ao vivo no passado dia 6 de Março, o esperado regresso da banda aos palcos ficou marcado pelas participações especiais de Miguel Bello (LullaBye) e de Nuno Melo (Mundo Secreto) e ainda pela ante-estreia do videoclip do tema “Alone (Where I'm Going)”.

Entre os 13 temas que podemos encontrar em “Love And Revolution”, e para além do videoclip “Alone (Where I'm Going)”, destaca-se ainda uma nova e energética versão da música “Help!” dos Beatles, que promete não deixar ninguém indiferente e que conta com o apoio da rádio Best Rock, tendo ainda já agendado airplay na Rádio Comercial.

Após o sucesso do tema “Tear In The Pocket” em várias rádios nacionais, com destaque para a inclusão no Top 7 da Best Rock e o lançamento do videoclip em finais de 2008, a banda passou o ano de 2009 em produção e gravação do trabalho agora editado e a preparar os concertos ao vivo.

Dão corpo ao projecto, Jou na voz e guitarra, Christophe na guitarra solo, Paulo Azevedo no baixo e Mike B na bateria que, desde 2004, pisam os palcos ao lado de nomes como Xutos & Pontapés, Blasted Mechanism, Fonzie, EZ Special e Ricardo Azevedo num percurso que já levou a banda a participar na Festa Europeia da Música na cidade de Lausanne, Suíça.

"Love And Revolution" continua com o estilo que a banda já habituou a quem teve a oportunidade de os ver ao vivo, marcado por uma grande dose de energia e irreverência misturados num registo intenso, coeso e marcadamente rock.

"Love and Revolution" is the first album of the portuguese band the LOYD, after the EP "Done" released in 2007, and it is available since May of 2010.

Presented live on the 6 of March, the expected return of the band to the stages was marked by appearances by Michael Bello (Lullabye) and Nuno Melo (Mundo Secreto) and also by the first public screening of the music video "Alone (Where I'm Going)".

There are 13 songs that can be found in "Love and Revolution", with a clear emphasis on a new and energetic version of the Beatles song "Help!", which promises to leave no one indifferent and has the support of the Best Rock besides the already scheduled airplay on Rádio Comercial.

After the success of the song "Tear In The Pocket", the single from the EP "Done", on several national radio stations, and after the late 2008 release of it's music video, the band spent the year of 2009 on production and recording of the work now edited.

Giving shape to the project, we can find Jou on vocals and guitar, Christophe on lead guitar, Paul Azevedo on bass and Mike B on drums, whom since 2004, have shared several portuguese stages with some of the greatest portuguese acts, such as "Xutos & Pontapés", "Blasted Mechanism", "Fonzie", "EZ Special" and Ricardo Azevedo, on a journey that has led the band to participate in the European Music Festival in Lausanne, Switzerland.

"Love And Revolution" continues with the style that the band has accustomed those who had the opportunity to see them live, marked by a great deal of energy and irreverence, resulting in a remarkably cohesive and unforgettable rock style.
