Spanish rock band los Enemigos got involved in the local scene in the mid-'80s, recording their first album after coming in first place at Villa de Madrid's rock contest.
That first record, called Ferpectamente, was followed by 1988's Un Tío Cabal. Led by singer/guitarist Josele Santiago, los Enemigos became one of the most popular local numbers during the 1990s. To celebrate their 15th anniversary, the band performed five shows in Madrid, Valencia, Granada, and Santiago de Compostela, making a double live album called Obras Escocidas, 1985-2000, produced by Carlos Matos and released by Chewaka Records on February 19, 2001. ~ Drago Bonacich
