I simply know this much about myself: I am loyal, creative, good-natured, smart enough and somewhat spiritual – but for all the good it does me, I still feel lost at times, searching for something I might already have yet cannot seem to find. I can be too much of a deep thinker and a dreamer at the same time. I'm a wanderer at heart with an artist's temperament, seeking peace and adventure, solitude and togetherness, simplicity and the fullness of life ...

I love the silence before bedtime + birdsong in the morning, smiles from a stranger, the smell of wet asphalt after a summer rain, arriving in new places, lying on my back watching the clouds + the stars, hot cocoa milk with whipped cream, the ever changing light, the sinai desert, lough abisdealy at dawn, caramel, walking barefoot through damp grass, wooden cabins & the smell of woodsmoke in the winter, chocolate cake, lilac + hyazinths + bluebells, soft spring rain, wayside findings, the sound of cicadas at sunset, getting a letter from a friend, ocean waves and salty air, seagulls, the sound of the wind + the sea, taking aimless pictures just for the fun of it, the moon, the mellow drowsiness after lovemaking, thunderstorms, the smell of my skin in the summer, the warmth of the sun upon my face, campfires, laughing, working the soil, the buzzing of bumblebees, snuggling up in bed with a loved one, autumn sunshine on golden leaves, skimming stones, writing, mindlessly staring into empty space, the smell of fresh cut grass, heartfelt hugs, herbs, the scent of cucumber, crisp mountain air ... there is so much more ... isn't life just so wondrous and wonderful if we allow it to be?....

everything inspired and inspiring ... I'm open to every style and genre of music as long as it touches me somehow.

people who fail but keep trying, remaining open and curious, exploring the reality inside of them, acknowledging possible fears and faults and patterns without reproach, dauntlessly recreating the world they find inside themselves without causing harm for the world outside.

My grandfather for teaching me to be mindful of all the beauty in the world ... and that sometimes it's hidden in the least apparent places ...
