An iconic to the Madrid House Music scene, JP Candela new resident DJ at Pacha Ibiza,remains true to his roots. Over six years as resident of Pacha Madrid along with countless regular slots throughout the citys coolest parties and most sought after special events, it is only under exceptional circumstances that you will find him prized away from the thriving scene of which he has been the driving force.

As remixer and producer, JP Candela has signed hit remixes for David Guetta (Memories) or Dennis Ferrer (Hey, Hey) and other remixes for artists such as Analog People (Rose Rouge-Saint Germain). He is also responsible of many original productions for Pacha Recordings label and compilations for Pacha Ibiza.

However, its exceptional circumstances that seem to be coming around more and more frequently for this man; his role as ambassador and chief judge of the Movida Corona DJ competition has seen him play and host every stage throughout Europe, culminating in the grand final in Vienna. A brand new “triple ten”, record deal with Pacha Recordings takes him to the decks of Pacha Ibizas Tour . And a residency in the dramatic setting of Puro Sky Berlin takes his sound to the German capital.

In JP Candela we have not just one of the movers and shakers of the Madrid Scene, but a highly respected international touring artist with an unrivaled knowledge of music. His immense capability behind the decks has made him a firm favorite with crowds in Europe, South America, Asia, and the Middle East.
Recent highlights include his performances at Rock in Rio,F*** Me Im Famous, Gay Euro Pride, Ministry of Sound Corona,Premier Djs Awards and a personal invitation by Calvin Klein to play at the 10th anniversary of their “One” Perfume.

2002 Saw the beginning of “Heiress”, his hugely successful Madrid based party bringing together a young, beautiful, and wealthy crowd for memorable nights with quality music in high production settings.

However his talents are far more diverse than simply spinning records. As well as co-founding Madcity Recordings and Crystal Sound Records .
He also collaborates in the weekly radio show, “One Moment in the Sky”, in Madrid.

His latest projects include the Rock and Electronic fusion concept “Superlush DJs”, and his new Electronic Rock band “The Lipstick”, which are both receiving rave reviews from both peers and critics alike.

This mans sheer ability is best highlighted by numerous award nominations, charting from 2004 -when he was voted Best National DJ in the Expression Tour-, right through to 2008 with nominations for Best DJ, and Best Electro House DJ in the DeejayMags Spain. In 2009 he was awarded as Best Newcomer Dj with his formation Superlush Djs.

JPs gregarious nature combined with his stomping sets behind the decks lends itself perfectly to the unforgettable moments that we have all too frequently come to experience.
