BIOGRAPHY

Actualmente Jose de Divina se encuentra volcado en su sello discográfico, y en sus actuaciones en los locales más reconocidos de todo el mundo, combinándolo con sus residencias en Ibiza durante la temporada de verano. La historia de Jose de Divina comienza en Mallorca, cuando en 1991 pincha sus primeros discos. Pronto demostró su talento y se convirtió en parte importante de la vida nocturna de la isla. Pero será en 1995 cuando la carrera de Jose de Divina comienza a despegar, llegando a la terraza de Space Ibiza, y haciéndose con un puesto de residente en la cabina que durará más de 10 años. Esta residencia le hace catapultarse al mercado internacional y la combina con actuaciones en los 5 continentes. En la isla blanca se recordarán también sus actuaciones en el after de Manumission, que fueron determinantes en su explosión a nivel internacional, y además le permitieron compartir cabina con los Djs más importantes del momento como Tenaglia, Roger Sánchez, Erick Morillo o Masters At Work. En esta época también fue miembro del equipo de DJs residentes en la fiesta que Dance Valley organizaba en Amnesia y era uno de los habituales invitados a la cabina de Pacha. Con esta plataforma de lanzamiento, Divina tuvo la oportunidad de actuar en algunos de los mejores clubs del mundo, como el Home londinense, el Tunnel neooyorkino, el Living Room de Miami, el Queen de Paris o el Pacha de Buenos Aires. Formó además parte de la gira mundial de Space Ibiza, visitando lugares como Tokio, Sao Paulo, Marruecos, Punta del Este, Finlandia, Suecia, Alemania o Australia. En los últimos 6 años, Jose de Divina ha combinado sus actuaciones alrededor de todo el mundo, con sus residencias en algunos de los de los mejores clubs de Ibiza. Han destacado sus apariciones en la cabina de DC10 cada lunes poniendo sonido a una de las mejores y más reconocidas sesiones de la isla, Circo Loco y sus sesiones en Monza, Zoo Proyect o Underground, todos ellos lugares de referencia musical en la isla Todo esto sin olvidarnos del trabajo realizado por José de Divna en el estudio. A lo largo de toda su carrera ha trabajado produciendo para sellos tan importantes como BLACK VINIL, PARADISE, FREAK AND CHIC, WALDLIEBE MUSIC o GIMICG, En 2009, y tras la experiencia tomada con anteriores proyectos como el sello Stomp Recordings,nace CLIMATIC SOUND, de las manos de Divina y Javi Murdock, un sello que en su primer año ha trabajado con artistas de la talla de Nima Gorji, Jairo Catelo, Marco Violi, Willie Graff, o Felipe Valenzuela entre otros. En los ep de climatic, como en las sesiones de Jose de Divina, el house va deslizandose por estilos tan dispares como tribal, el tech~house, el deep o el funky.

Currently Jose de Divina is focused in his record label and in his performances in the most recognized local in all the world, combining this with their residencies in Ibiza during the summer season. The history of Jose de Divina begins in Mallorca when in 1991 he puts his early records. He soon showed his talent and became an important part of the island's nightlife. All this without forgetting the work done by Jose de Divina in the study. Throughout his career he has worked on productions for important record labels such as BLACK VINYL,PARADISE, FREAK AND CHIC, WALDLIEBE MUSIC or GIMICG. In 2009, following the experience from past project as the seal Stomp Recordings, CLIMATIC SOUND born from the hands of Divina and Javi Murdok, a seal that in its first year has worked with artists in size like Nima Gorji, Jairo Catelo Marco Violi, Willie Graff, and Felipe Valenzuela among others. In the EP from CLIMATIC, like in the sessions of Jose de Divina, the House music is sliding down styles as diverse as tribal, tech house, deep or funky.

    José De Divina Over the last six years Jose de Divina has become a world reknown DJ, spinning at the best clubs accross Europe, USA, South America, Asia and South Africa. Divina’s history begins in Mallorca, where in 1991 he spins his first records and rapidly becomes an essential part of the island’s nightlife. It was in 1995 that his career really took off after arriving at the heart of the world’s best after hours and making it is his home: the terrace at Space. On top of his Sunday residency, doing the Carry On for Manumission was also a determining factor in his career. It was here he had the opportunity to spin alongside godfathers of House music such as Tenaglia, Roger S, Erick Morillo, MAW, amongst others. He was also resident at Amnesia during two years for Dance Valley and is a frequent guest at Pacha’s Scandal.
