    ........After being exposed to the unique talent and vocals of this R&B artist he will definitely leave you shouting Encore! Encore! With a style of his own he is known to captivate any audience. His smooth, crisp and debonair appearance demands all of your attention. What a crowd pleaser! You are definitely in for a treat! A native of South Bend, Indiana, Tim Jones is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter who was raised on gospel music. His music debut began at Indiana University with the Soul Revue, a rhythm and blues performing group composed of students. During that time he also performed with Keith Mitchell and Kevon Edmonds, current members of the group “After 7.” He later formed his own group “Tim Jones in Flight” which opened for such performers as John Lee Hooker, Little Milton and Bobby Blue Bland. Moving to Dallas in the late eighties has definitely earned him a well-respected name in the city. His contributions have included recordings with Bobby and the Critters on their “Prankster Gangster” cd. He also wrote “Rainbow of Love” and is a co-writer on “Summertime Music and Just a Little Bit “ come together on the group Fingerprints cd. He has also been featured on other artists cd’s. Tim’s other talents include recording jingles and songwriting. If that’s not enough, he has also had the opportunity to briefly showcase his talents on stage with The Chi-lites, Patty LaBelle and Earth, Wind and Fire! If you have not heard this guy then you have not a clue what you have been missing! He has opened for the following artists: Isaac Hayes Restaurant Grand Opening, Jeffrey Osborne, Ramsey Lewis, Ronnie Laws, Mark Whitfield, Angela Bofill, Najee, Tom Browne, War, Norman Brown, The Thunderbirds, Marion Meadows, Joe McBride, Boney James… just to name a few. Local Groups Affiliations: Fingerprints, Memphis Soul Revue, Ransom and Close Up, Vinjac, ice house, all funk radio Other Groups: City Rhythm – New York Body & Soul – New York New York City Player-New York Tim currently travels throughout the United States showcasing his talents.
