.. .... .. Writer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and mixer Jimmy Deer began performing professionally at age 13 in rock bands in the Midwest. Since this early introduction to the music business, there have been many milestones, including signing and touring the US as frontman for TVT Records live/electronic band Baldwin Brothers. Jimmy shared the stage with such artists as Deathcab for Cutie, Common, 30 Seconds to Mars, Lenny Kravitz, O.A.R., Cypress Hill, and Soul Asylum among others. The band was featured in mags such as Rolling Stone, Spin, and BPM culture. He also toured Japan and performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival with legendary DJ Roy Davis Jr. In 2004, he left the world of performance to focus on writing and production--his goal to bring the skills acquired from extensive live performance and studio work into a perfect marriage with the technical benefits of a music degree... Since leaving the stage for the studio, Jimmy has been fortunate to work for such artists as Trey Songz, Seal, India.Arie, Christina Milian, Ali Tamposi, Sam Hook, Grammy-Nominated Maurice Fonson, and Norwegian star Oda Evjen among others. .... ..Select Discography..
