    John Hopkins jr is determined to reach out to as many people as he can through his music. He feels that by performing after his stroke he can give positive vibrations to all who see him. John is paralyzed on his right side. He plays piano with one hand his left .It has been said that John plays the same as if he had both hands. Audiences are spellbound at his concerts or when he works in other units.His album Enough Said is the album that is gaining in attention.Several songs from the album are popular with the audience. "Come Love Me Down and "Love's Just Funny that Way" are destined to be staples in listener's catalogues around the world . John's main intent is to show other disabled individuals that nothing is impossible if you work at it no matter what obsticals are placed in your path.John wants folks to leave his performance saying "yes" I CAN TOO" John owes his success so far to God,His partner in life, and his family . The album is Enough Said check it out you won't be disappointed! If you want to purchase the album John is on CD Baby .A part of his proceeds go to books that he uses to teach others. He has written an instruction book for beginners in piano. John in 1990-91 played with some of the best musicians in Frankfurt Germany. John played many nights at the Jazz clubs in Frankfurt. There were two musician that John worked with on a regular basis . Mr. Gotz Ommert on bass and Mr Hal Thurmond on drums. They made an album together and some of the tracks can be heard here.Unfortunately Mr. Thurmond is no longer with us,but as you listen you can hear the fire he brought to the music.Mr Ommert was the steady bottom on bass that held this unit together besides playing some masterful solos.
