The Years Behind Hell's Avenue...
Everything starts back in 2008, when Marv Castillo, J.P Solano and Dan Castellano were teenagers.

In This group of three guys decided to join and create a band, but they didn't know how to name the band. After November of 2008 they were "Hell's Avenue", formed by 14-year-olds. The band promised a record in 2009 called "Walking In Hell" and they were tagged as the #1 Most Expected Metal Band of 2009. There were high expectations for Walking In Hell, under the pressure of recording good music, Marv called more people to play in the debut album, but the band left the project later.

In 2009 Hell's Avenue had a fanbase of more than 2000 people, and they had no music yet. After the first anniversary of the band Castillo announced that Simón Solano was going to be the new guitarrist, and the hype started around the fans. They took Walking In Hell, but their music interests changed Marv was into 60's rock, alternative music and psychedelia; Simón was into hard rock and Costarrican modern music; and J.P was into bands such as Avenged Sevenfold and liked house music. They had to drop Walking In Hell again, but later in 2010 Marv suggested a new project, an EP called "Beast".

8000 people joined to the Hell's Avenue fanbase after the band left metal genre to explore other kinds of different and lighter music, more than 6000 was expecting a lot from Beast, and later the fans called themselves "beasts". After some struggle, Marv announced that he was going to carry on with the band by himself. Later in 2011 Castillo left Beast, to work in other projects such as video directing, edition and painting.

2012 was a great year for Castillo and Hell's Avenue. Marv had the oportunity to share his art in an exposition in Costa Rica, which received 100% positive reviews and announced a tentative track list for Beast. Also, 10000 people joined the "beasts". Now in 2013, Castillo is studying in University and working on Beast which is influenced by bands like MGMT, Foster the People, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Daft Punk, Megadeth, Metallica, the Doors, the Strokes and Imagine Dragons.

Beast is supposed to be finished in December or earlier.
