**************************************************************************************************************************** GUIDO MARTIN & FRIENDS
- a project of singer / songwriter GUIDO MARTIN and friendmusicians from Berlin, Germany. After nearly two years-old cooperation of songwriting and producing with the bassplayer / sounddesigner WOLFGANG MIRCHE and the vigorous support from the soundengineer TOBIAS DICKMANN the Demoalbum "TIMELESS NIGHTS" has been produced. The CD has some feelings of the sixties, grooves of the seventies, eighties and nineties with the sound of tomorrow. It contains 12 tracks from own feather and manufacturing. The repertoire encloses blues-sounding like rock songs, ballades, soul-jazz like songs and is arranged with instant commercial hooklines and harmoniously melodic complexity. Here the anglo-american style of the songwriting is clearly to recognize. The songlyrics were written by GUIDO and WOLFGANG together. They appeal to society-politically global injustice, but they also have always a positive conclusion: "Fight!!! - and do not surrender!" The start to a nationwide club tour is not certain yet, but they are working for 2012 on a line-up. ************************************************************************************************************************** GUIDO MARTIN & FRIENDS

So entstand nach fast zwei-jähriger Zusammenarbeit des Songwriting und des Produzierens mit dem Bassisten / Sounddesigner WOLFGANG MIRCHE und mit der tatkräftigen Unterstützung des Tontechnikers TOBIAS DICKMANN das Demoalbum "TIMELESS NIGHTS". Die CD erinnert gefühlsmäßig ein bisschen an die sechziger, den Grooves der siebziger, achtziger und neunziger Jahre sowie dem Sound von morgen. Sie enthält 12 Tracks aus eigener Feder und Fertigung. Das Repertoire umfasst blues-rockige bis soul-jazzige balladeske Songs und ist mit der Raffinesse eingängiger Hooklines sowie harmonisch melodischer Vielschichtigkeit arrangiert. Die anglo-amerikanische Handschrift des Songwriting ist hier sehr deutlich herauszuhören. Die Texte wurden von GUIDO und WOLFGANG gemeinsam verfasst. Sie sprechen einerseits gesellschaftspolitisch globale Ungerechtigkeiten an, lassen andererseits aber auch immer einen positiven Ausklang zu: "Fight!!! - and do not surrender!" Der Start zu einer bundesweiten Clubtour steht bis jetzt noch nicht fest - aber man arbeitet für 2012 an einem Line-up. **************************************************************************************************************************
