A pop/rock band from Spain, El Nino Gusano was formed in the early '90s, making their debut with the release of an EP called Palencia in 1993, which was followed by Bernadutz in 1994.
The band's first full-length album, Circo Luso, was released in 1995. The band issued 1996's El Efecto Lupa and 1998's El Escarabajo Mas Grande de Europa after signing with RCA. In addition, they recorded "Blue Jay Way" for a tribute to the Beatles. In 2001, the Spanish independent label Grabaciones del Mar made a compilation of previously unreleased El Nino Gusano tracks called Fantastico Entre los Pinos. ~ Drago Bonacich
