Ilustrador pop, influenciado por la cultura trash, las películas de ciencia ficción de los 50's, la lucha libre, la música surf, que plasma este universo en sus psicotrónicas ilustraciones, animaciones e historietas.

Egresado de la Facultad de Bellas Artes, de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, como Diseñador en Comunicación Visual.

Como animador independiente realizó animaciones para MTV Latin América y Japon, Nickelodeon Latin América y Brasil, Canal Fox etc. y también fue coordinador de la sección de animación de la web de MTV latina america.

Fue jurado en los premios MTV online 2001, en el rubro animación y en el rubro diseño en los premios One Show 2004 en New York.

Su trabajo ha sido publicado en varias antologias especializadas como por ejemplo Illustration Now (Taschen); Illusive, Pictoplasma, Los Logos, Dos Logos, Latino, Play Loud, (Die Gestalten Verlag); Place (Actar); Tatto Icon 3 (Victionary); Iconography II (idN) etc. etc.

Es co-fundador y propietario junto a Juan Moragues del sello discográfico Isotonic Records, especializado en rock instrumental.

Desde el 2006 es curador del espacio Terraza del Centro Cultural de España en Mexico.

En el 2007 junto a Andres Amaya crea Plan B la primera productora de urban toys de Mexico.

En el 2009 junto con Clarisa Moura, abren VERTIGO

Actualmente y desde su laboratorio en el DF, sigue desarrollando su arte en distintos medios y editoriales de Argentina, Mexico, España, Italia, Alemania, Portugal, USA, Suiza, Finlandia, Grecia, etc.  .. About Dr. Alderete
Pop illustrator, who uses trash culture, 50's science fiction films, wrestling and surf music imagery in his psychotronic illustrations, animations and comics. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, as a Designer in Visual Communication.

As an independent animator, he has worked for MTV Latin America and Japan, Nickelodeon Latin America and Brazil. He has been coordinator of the animation section on the internet for MTV Latin America. Also he has been a jury of the MTV On-line Prizes 2001 (animation category) and One Show 2004 (design category) in New York.

His work has been published in several specialized anthologies for example: Illustration Now (Taschen); Illusive, Pictoplasma, Los Logos, Dos Logos, Latino, Play Loud, (Die Gestalten Verlag); Place (Actar); Tatto Icon 3 (Victionary); Iconography II (idN) etc. etc.

He is the co-owner of the independent record label Isotonic Records, specialized in instrumental rock.

From 2006 he is the curator of the Terraza space in the Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico.

In 2007, with Andres Amaya, he forms Plan B, the first Urban vinyl toy production company in Mexico.

In 2009 he joins up with Clarisa Moura to open VERTIGO

Currently he mostly works as an illustrator, for different publishing and media ventures in Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal, USA, Switzerland, Finland, etc. He works in his lab at Mexico City.  ..
