Monolith Cocktail

Hailing from the creative hotbed that is Durham, North Carolina, Big Hell is very much cast from the same mould as TV On The Radio and The Coup. Primarily hip-hop, the production pairing of Tommy Rau and Gabe Turner weave dystopian industrial synthesizers, heavy auspicious rock and indie influences together into a fitting soundtrack for the backdrop of this ongoing post capitalist melt down.

Hyperdelic Fydelity

So you're really digging Def Jux joints but you want a little bit of a harder sound. Enter Big Hell. They don't sound like your typical band or hip hop group for that matter, which is refreshing at a time in music where everything sounds like everything or doesn't quite sound like it's supposed to. 'She Only Comes Underwater' is the joint you really need to check for, extra special track. It's a radio killer.
