Academy for Physical Theater
The Theater School founded by Dimitri in 1975 is now part of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) and offers a basic training in all aspects of movement theater that is unique in Europe.
Central to the program of studies is the three-year “Bachelor of Arts in Theater” course. This qualification can be supplemented by a “Master of Arts in Theater” degree, after a further eighteen months’ study.
The research and development section explores different aspects of movement theater in greater depth.
Over Easter and during the summer months, the School organizes various courses for beginners and amateurs, as well as specialized courses for professional artists, all run by teachers of repute.
The School also organizes seminars and theater courses for specific groups.
